Most Impressive Win – Chicago Bears – After looking awful against the Packers on Sunday night, the Bears rebounded in a huge way, beating the defending champs without their leader Brian Urlacher.
Best Overall Performance (Team) – New Orleans Saints – Just like in week 1, the Saints put up a 40 burger, but this time it was against a quality defense in Philly.
Best Overall Performance (Player) – Frank Gore – This was an easy choice. Bloody Gore totaled 246 yards, including a 12.9 ypc average. Oh, and he had 2 touchdowns as well.
Breakout Performer – Mario Manningham – The young gun out of Michigan had 10 receptions for 150 yards and a TD against a good Dallas secondary. Seems like Eli has his new Plax.

Most Impressive Win – Bengals/Jets – They beat the teams that I predicted to go to the Super Bowl by 7 points respectively. I am impressed, to say the least.
Best Overall Performance (Team) – Bills – The dormant Bills offense woke up in this game, and got their 2 big play receivers touchdowns. Whitner chipped in with a 76-yard pick 6. Nice bounce back from the New England game.
Best Overall Performance (Player) – Chris Johnson – Like Gore, Johnson was a no-brainer. Johnson racked up 284 total yards from scrimmage, plus he added 3 touchdowns. Have mercy!
Breakout Performer – Julian Edelman – Wes Welker’s fill-in had a great game in a losing effort for the Pats. He pulled down 8 passes for 98 yards in his first extensive action in the league.
