LT’s Daily Top 10 Sports Blog Posts (10/2/09)

Well it’s Friday, and there are some good sports blog posts circulating around the blogosphere. Here are my top 10 that I’ve come across today:

1. Video: Chris Paul’s off-the-ceiling trick shot – With the Texas A&M Dude Perfect video going viral recently, cool basketball shots are definitely a hot topic. Check out, Ball Don’t Lie, and see what NBA All Star Chris Paul can do with a ball and a hoop.

2. Who’s that Sun with a rat tail? – With Louis Amundson’s famous ponytail getting all of the attention in Phoenix, a fellow teammate had an idea of how he could get noticed with his new idea for a ‘do.

3. 8 Ways a Professional Athlete Can Successfully Utilize Social Media- Well the title pretty much says it all. Check out this list by Cener Social Media, and you will learn some interesting ideas on using  social media beneficially.

4. Random Thoughts from River Avenue: Nick Swisher’s Top 10 Tweets – With Nick Swisher being my favorite Yankee, I thought this list was really awesome. Even if you are not a  Swish fan, it is still worth a look.

5. Bronson Arroyo: Gettin’ Real – Bronson Arroyo has never been a guy that’s is too concerned about discretion. This article definitely gives credence to the prior statement. Give it a read if you’re looking for a good laugh.

6. Chick-fil-A Shows Their Support of the Browns - As if things couldn’t get any worse for the Browns…. Just check this out, it’s funny.

7. Stop Saying Matt Forte is the Next Rashaan Salaam! – Matt Forte was the best thing that happened to my fantasy team last season. Good thing I don’t have him this year. If you still believe in Forte, a Chicago sports writer might have some words of encouragement to give you hope on the second year back out of Tulane.

8. Not Good Times – I am sure everyone is aware of how wonderful our economy is doing right now. Here’s a chart that shows that ‘success’ in full clarity.
