Brady Answers Some Questions

I guess that Tom Brady was tired of hearing the critics complain about his inefficiency against the Broncos in week 5. Brady answered AFC Championship Patriots Football any questions about his knee and his comfort level, as he torched the Titans en route to a 59-0 victory in the snow.

One short week after Brady looked exceptionally off, he took the bull by the horns, and he did everything right. Of all of the great games that Tom Brady has had, I think that this one was by far the best. Brady was a ridiculous 29/34 for 380 yards and 6 touchdowns.

These are numbers that are unheard of, even for a guy like Brady. When he plays a game like this, he is clearly trying to get a point across. He was not treating this game like any ordinary game, he needed to make a statement and show that he can still play quarterback at a high level in this league.

Following last week’s loss to the Broncos, I seriously wondered if Brady would ever be the same again. I thought that the Patriots would be forced to become a power running team, and after Laurence Maroney scored his first touchdown in 2 seasons this week, I thought it had become a reality.

Then the second quarter happened.

Brady threw for a record-setting 5 touchdown passes in that 1 quarter, and I realized that the power running game was just a figment of my imagination. Brady still has it, and after Sunday’s game against the Titans, everybody knows it.

Questions answered, Tom.
