The Yankees come into game 2 against the Phillies with one thought on their minds: Just win. If they want to accomplish that goal, they are going to need to hit Pedro Martinez well. If Pedro gets into a rhythm against the Yanks early, they could be in a lot of trouble, as their confidence is already shaken from last night’s performance. If Pedro starts rolling through the first few innings, this series could end really quickly. Of course, Pedro is not the most loved guy in the Bronx, and he will be the target of thousands of fans tonight. Knowing Pedro Martinez, and the way he feeds off of emotions, he is going to love that attention more than anyone.
