Super A-Rod Saves Joba

The Yankees were leading 4-3 in the 8th, and Joba Chamberlain  had breezed through the first two batters of the inning. Then Pedro Feliz came up and belted a solo home run to tie the game at 4. Yankee fans around the world felt like Joba had let them down, and many thought that the Phillies would complete the comeback  and tie the series at 2. However, the Yankees had some 2-out magic of their own in the top of the 9th. After Johnny Damon reached on a  single, he stole two bases on one play and was at third base. Then, Mark Teixeira was hit by a pitch and was sent to first. Next was Super A-Rod, who smacked a double and gave the Yankees the lead that they would never relinquish. A-Rod’s clutch hitting is something that Yankee fans are getting used to this postseason. When A-Rod is coming up big, this team is definitely at its best. A-Rod and the Yankees are now one win away from a World Series Championship.  superarod
