Everyone could put the ”Dirk Nowitzki is too old” talks to rest…at least for now. Last night, Nowitzki exploded for 40 points against the Utah Jazz, including a franchise-record 29 points in the 4th quarter. In the 4th, Nowitzki went 7-8 from the field and a perfect 14-14 from the free throw line. The Jazz, who had a lead of 16 points in this game, ended up losing by 11 due to the fire that Nowitzki caught in that explosive 4th quarter.
