The Philadelphia Phillies avoided elimination last night largely due to Chase Utley and another 2 home run performance. Utley has a total of 5 home runs in this World Series, and he has tied a record that was previously held by Reggie Jackson. Whether or not the Phillies win this series, many people feel that Chase Utley is deservant of MVP honors, and I would totally agree. Without Utley’s boosting home runs, there is no telling if the Phillies would even be going back to New York. Utley has hit a total of 4 home runs in the 2 Phillies wins and hopes he can continue his success for the remainder of this World Series.
