NFL Power Rankings (11/25/09)

1. Saints – As long as they continue to win, they will remain number one on this list.

2. Colts – This team is finding ways to win games. That is important if this team wants to win the ”Big One” this season.

3. Vikings – Brett Favre is playing the game like he is 26. Wasn’t this supposed to be Peterson’s team?

4. Patriots – I cannot wait for their game against the Saints on Monday night.

5. Bengals – Last game was just a blip on the ”Raider” screen.

6. Cardinals – 6-1 in their last 7. Hightower and Wells are looking great right now.

7. Chargers – The Bolts have won 5 straight and sit atop of the AFC West after clobbering the Broncos 32-3.

8. Steelers – Losing to the Chiefs cannot happen, especially when the Bengals lose to the Raiders.

9. Cowboys – A less-than-impressive performance against the Redskins, albeit in a win.

10. Eagles – Big win on Sunday night against the Bears. The Eagles are in the thick of things in the NFC.

11. Packers – This team should have fun on Thanksgiving against the Lions.

12. Ravens – The Ravens had multiple chances to knock off Indy, but they just could not do it.

13. Giants – Should not have gone to OT with Atlanta. That secondary is still a big concern.

14. Dolphins – If Ricky Williams can produce like he did against Carolina, this team will be fine.

15. Titans – Does Vince Young ever lose? That’s 8 straight wins as a starter (4-0 this season).

16. Jaguars – If the playoffs started today, the Jags would be in. Say what?

17. Texans – Back to back 20-17 losses to divisional opponents have the Texans at 5-5.

18. Falcons – This team has hit a rough patch. Tampa Bay should help this week.

19. Broncos – They have now lost 4 in a row. What seemed like a locked AFC West is now being led by San Diego.

20. Panthers – Rough loss to the Dolphins. The Panthers need to regroup quickly if they want a chance at the playoffs.

21. Jets – The Jets had no answer for ”Wild” Wes Welker.

22. 49ers – They did not go down easily against Green Bay. I respect that fighting attitude.

23. Bears – The most excitement in Chicago these days is Devin Hester’s ”wardrobe malfunction.”

24. Redskins – This team is playing better lately. Will they finish the season strong?

25. Chiefs – Two wins in a row for KC. Getting rid of LJ was the best thing they ever did.

26. Raiders – Hey, maybe this Gradkowski kid is the answer. I doubt it, though.

27. Seahawks – They weren’t even competitive against Favre and the Vikings.

28. Bills – Even with TO’s grand performance (9 rec, 197 yds, TD), the Bills could not beat the Jags.

29. Rams – Marc Bulger broke his leg, and he will be out for up to 6 weeks. It just keeps on getting better for the Rams…

30. Lions – At least they got an exciting win before their probable Turkey-Day massacre.

31. Bucanneers – They got blown out against the Saints. Can you blame them?

32. Browns – The Browns made Matt Stafford look like Peyton Manning.
