Who Ya Got? Landry or Williams?

This weekend when the Cowboys face the Redskins at Fedex Field, there will definitely be a lot of hatred to go around. One of the many ways that hatred is manifested is through verbal abuse, or as most athletes call it, “Trash-talking.” The two most recognizable trash-talkers between these two teams are undoubtedly Laron Landry and Roy Williams. The funny thing about these guys being the “spokesmen” for their respective teams is that they both do more off of the field than on it. Both of them were formerly high first-round picks, and, in my opinion, they should each focus more on their on-field production, rather than their controversial sound bites.

But, since they are so good at what they do, Landry and Williams each left a message for the other. Here they are:

Landry said,

“Roy is whack. The way this guy has played this season is outright unfair to the Cowboys. Do you realize what they had to give up to get him? If Williams was half as good as the team expected, nobody would say anything about him. But since he can’t even do that, he is the most talked about player on the team. He better make sure to ask Santa for a new pair of hands, because his current pair is clearly worn out.”

Williams said,

“Laron Landry is a Pro Bowl player, who I would love to have on my team. But in all seriousness, Landry’s game is lost right now. This guy falls for a double move like it’s his job, and he is making that Redskins’ secondary a much weaker unit. If I was Landry, I would hurry up and get on the internet. Then I would go to Google and type in, “Laron Landry’s game.” When he finds nothing, because it’s lost, he will realize that he is done, and he needs to retire. To keep making a fool of himself makes no sense.”

Well, they are each clearly not impressed by each other’s ability to play the game at a high level. However, there is no denying the smack that these guys can dish out. What do you guys think? Who had the better trash-talk? Landry or Williams?

  1. I gotta go with Williams on this one. Landry’s game is lost.
