The Knicks are in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference, and overall their season has been disappointing, at least in comparison to where people expected them to be.

They have gotten a point guard similar to Steve Nash in Jeremy Lin, and they have definitely shown a marked improvement with him running the show. However, he is NOT Nash.

I too believe if the Knicks had Steve Nash, they would be much better off than they are now.

Nash would make almost any team with at least one star player instant contenders. Would love to see Nash traded to the Lakers. I think that’s all the Lakers would need to actually win a championship.

This I think is a low risk signing for the Celtics considering their window of opportunity right now is very small. This might be the last chance they have, although I guess we thought this last year. But the fact of the matter is that they need a big man now that Kendrick Perkins is going to be out for so long and there aren’t very many quality ones out there. Shaq can be good but at this point in his career he just can’t get too many touches. All in all I think it is a shrewd signing but I guess we’ll find out this season. In didn’t work in Cleveland but who knows.
